Hello, This is Mission Control

So there will be times, like last night, where BaseIsLife is just unable to post, either due to a long drive, or because he accidentally over-nighted in Amish Country and Brother Gemariah’s barn just doesn’t line up with the satellites.

That’s where I come in – I’m here to make sure the pictures and anecdotes don’t get lost in the miles of long travel. For example, this was taken yesterday passing through Milford Nebraska, where the air is as sweet and fragrant as a cow’s bottom.

The speed limit is 80, so you can pass through the picturesque forest of bovine butts without having to take too many breaths.

If not for the smell of manure, people might actually want to live out here and spoil the beautiful countryside.
