In theory, Base is heading home. Also, in theory, there’s a game in Oakland, CA at 7:05pm PST and the 26-26 Tampa Bay Rays are playing the 28-26 Oakland Athletics. Base may want to try to make that game. Just because, you understand. He’s in the area, after all.
